Today’s reading for my Digital Humanities class was about amateur digitized collections. Best use of an example in an academic paper ever: a small collection of scanned 1930s paper condom envelopes (I have no idea, don’t even ask). Click through to see the entire collection.
These are my favorites, some because they are so 30s vintage-looking and amazing, and some because they have names like “Poncho” and “BlondTex.” Like, seriously, how did the DevilSkin condom brand not beat everyone else out?
